Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a fast-growing Legal Tech startup company who are looking to add a hands on Lead Python Developer with strong Django or Flask skills to their team.

They are VC funded and are planning to double in size over thenext 12 months.

The company was established in March 2019 by a former lawyer and a theoretical physicist who works in Machine Learning.

They have since assembled a talented and diverse team of legal, software and machine learning engineers to build the next generation ofcontracting tools.

They are looking for a backend developer with comprehensive previous commercial experience who is ready for a new challenge to play a pivotal role in mentoring and coaching the Junior Developers and expanding the business, working alongside the founders,CTO and Head of Engineering.

You will lead the backend development in a product focused team, make key design and implementation decisions, writing high quality, well tested code that solves challenging problems and play a key role in the recruitment of other engineers.

You will alsodevelop backend services and GraphQL API's using Django, Flask and similar Python frameworks, build and maintain infrastructure and identify and prioritise tasks.

The company build software that will allow their customers to create contracts from a library of templates, and quickly review and edit contracts sent to them by counter-parties.

They are looking for someone to play a key part on their main platform thatcan automatically edit contracts and build an intelligent software package that will help companies save thousands of hours searching for information contained within contracts.

They've already made great progress towards this product vision and the Lead PythonEngineer will play a pivotal role in making it a reality.
