Full-time permanent position £39,186 - £43,421 (SCP

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Senior Building Control Surveyor in Newport. Newport is a city on the rise and has ambitious growth and regeneration ambitions.

Current LABC projects include the £78 million Component Manufacturing plant a number of large scale commercial and housing developments, several school extensions and refurbishments.


You will demonstrate a proven track record of having surveyed more complex developments and having promoted high standards in working practice under the Building Regulations as expected within the City.

You will possess sound technical skills with the ability to problem-solve within a diverse range of construction projects.

This role will entail the responsibility to mentor less experienced staff and be able to offer guidance and support where needed.
