Description
Metalis are currently working with a well known prestegious sub contracting engineering company based in S35. They are looking for a permanent Fabricator/ Plater to join their team on a permanent full time basis.


Salary:

£14.50


Hours:

Monday - Thursday 6:00am

  • 4:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviewing engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
  • Preparing and fabrication of various sizes of projects.
  • Achieve production timings in a timely manner.
  • Interpreting customer requirements from engineering drawings, sketches and written/verbal descriptions.
  • Communicating with Project Managers during production.
  • Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures laid down in the Company Handbook.
  • Completing fabrication as required and recording critical dimensions on inspection reports and performing safety checks.
  • Varied and interesting work, requiring attention to accuracy and detail to ensure tight tolerances are met.
  • Communicating at all levels
