Description

Patient Quality and Performance Manger
We are the NHS. We provide the care and services that you, we and our families would want to use. Since 1948 we have touched the lives of every person in the UK.

It is the mission of University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) to reduce waiting times, to restore services, to rebuild our teams for our patients and ultimately to build healthier lives for the people of Birmingham and Solihull.

It is therefore critical that every patient experiences UHB at its best.

As a Trust, our focus is on the care and support we give to our patients, their families and our communities.

As UHB continues to restore services following Covid we are also expanding our clinical functions to deliver more and give better treatments to people within our communities.

To do this, we reviewed and restructured our Patient Relations Team.

We have worked with the existing team members and listened to what they need to best deliver in their role and their department.

This has started with the newly created role of Patient Relations Quality and Performance Manger.

This critical position will work Trust wide and in conjunction with the Head of Patient Relations to lead a portfolio of work to ensure compliance with performance measures and to lead the administration team and associated functions essential to effective resolution of complaints and concerns.

You will deputise for the Head of Patient Relations and be part of the Patient Experience Senior Management Team.

Challenged by performance and results in this dynamic role, you will support the strategic planning and delivery of the Patient Relations agenda, with specific responsibility around quality and performance.

This requires expertise in data analytics and the ability to produce high quality reports.

It will also involve leading on Patient Relations staff education and training to deliver high quality Complaints and PALS services that achieve national and local key performance indicators.

In return you can expect to be employed one Birmingham's largest employers with a worldwide and enviable reputation for clinical research and transformations
- which is recognised for providing 1st class care. You will receive a starting salary of £48,526 rising to £54,619 along with a benefits package that includes a renown market leading pension, 27 days annual leave, (+BH) access to ESR - payroll and benefits programme to track your rewards and a comprehensive induction, on-going training, and development.

Interviews will be held 30th March in person.
