A global energy company are on the search for a Cyber Security Technical Consultant under their Cloud and Digital department in delivering business requirements needed in order to improve the current security measures based around SPLUNK.

The team itselfcurrently consists of 15 individuals over 2 workstreams of which there are varied levels of knowledge and experience.

This role will be more focused on the Agile/Delivery side where you will be the bridge between stakeholders and developers.

On an initial12 month contract, you will play a pivotal role in the deployment in an inside IR35 contract at £725 - £850 per day that may require some international travel.


Cyber Security Technical Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Work on a range of consulting engagements aligned with various security frameworks such as SPLUNK
  • Provide security advisory services for customers in support of their cloud strategies.
  • Assist with presales activities, providing security oversight to the sales team and helping to identify new business opportunities
  • Provide support and technical knowledge of onprem to Azure cloud migrations

Cyber Security Technical Consultant Requirements:

  • 57+ yrs working experience with Agile methodology
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity soace
  • Exposure to and understanding of a highly regulated environment i.e. finance
  • Ability to understand business problems and deal with challenging stakeholders
  • Technical Cyber expertise and proven experience delivering similar projects
