    Flexible Hours – Weekly Pay – Local Work!

    We are seeking an experienced support worker with a background in mental health support, to cover both day and night shifts. You will be part of a mental health support service catering to semi-independent residents who still require guidance and assistance in their daily routines.

    Job Details:

    • Ensure implementation of care plans to provide appropriate support to service users.
    • Support residents in their daily activities within the service and local community.
    • Assist in meal preparation.
    • Monitor the health and safety of service users.
    • Provide necessary personal care assistance without direct contact.
    • Perform basic cleaning tasks following safety procedures and cleaning schedules.
    • Document observation checks as per care plans.
    Please be aware that some residents may present self-harm risks. We seek individuals capable of identifying associated risks and promptly addressing concerns.

    Hours:

    • 07:00 to 19:00
    • 19:00 to 07:00
    The working hours are determined on an as-needed basis, as the service operates 24/7.

    The salary for this position is:

    • £11.50 per hour (Day shifts)
    • £12.00 per hour (Night shifts)

    To qualify for this position you must:

    • Provide two care-related references from professional care settings.
    • Possess up-to-date mandatory training certificates or the ability to cover training costs.
    • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate for Adults and Children.
    • Have at least 3 months of UK paid work experience with Autistic service users in a formal supported-living or day service setting.
    If you lack a valid DBS and/or training, worry not, as we can assist you with this. We offer subsidized online training with certifications for your benefit!
