Description

This hybrid apprenticeship role will be responsible for providing support to the Financial Operations Team covering Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and will be required to attend our office one day per week.

This position is a vital component of the business, and is responsible for:_
Accurate and timely posting of supplier invoices and credit notes
Preparation and distribution of customer invoices
Review and posting of monthly employee expenses or credit card claims
Purchase order creation
Assisting with payment and collection activities
Dealing with internal and external queries
Preparation of monthly supplier statement reconciliations
Completeness and accuracy of supplier & Customer data across all accounting platforms
Assisting with the timely completion of monthend processes and the production of monthly reports
Ensuring all activities are compliant with relevant financial policies

Requirements:

Excellent organisational skills
Accurate data entry skills
Basic Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Skills:_
AAT foundation level (equivalent) or above
Experience in Financial Reporting processes
Intermediate Excel skills
Good understanding of basic accounting principles
Previous experience in a transactional finance role
