Senior Cyber Security Engineer - Leading Clothing Brand

Newcastle - Up to £90k


One of the top clothing brands in Europe are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join them as part of their continued digital transformation.

Reporting into the Head of IT this is a relatively senior function in the business where you will be the primary contact on all data protection related matters across Europe, and helping to drive the business through their security measures.

Essentially its working on a greenfield project where you will get autonomy to shape the role as your own.

They would like experience in areas such as Akamai security technologies, security information and event management (SIEM) tools, Firewalls (e.g WAF), Incident response and management, and Bot protection.


Experience required;

  • Excellent knowledge of Cyber Security
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data protection and incident response strategies
  • Knowledge of Akamai security technologies, including Web Application Firewall (WAF), Kona Site Defender, Bot Manager
  • Security information and event management (SIEM) tools

Not essential but nice to have:

  • Cyber Security Certifications (e.g CISSP, CISA, Security+, CISM)
