Principal Building Surveyor - Northamptonshire - 3 Month Contract - £45- £55 Per Hour Umbrella Rate
ARM are working with a local Council and are currently recruiting for a Principal Building Surveyor to join them on a 3-month basis with the chance to extend.
You will have achieved, or be working towards Registered Building Inspector Class 2D competency registration.
You will have working knowledge of the Building Regulations and aligned legislation with a good understanding of the Building Act 1984.
You will have experience in additional functions such as dangerous structures and demolitions.What you will be doing:
In this position, you will be tasked with managing the day-to-day control of building work within the district whilst being the lead contact for major projects in respect of plannned examination, site inspections, and enforcement.
You will also check and process plans and notices for compliance with Building Regulations and ancillary legislations in preparation of amendment schedules.
This position is based in the north of Northamptonshire, the position will require you to be on-site 5 days a week.
