    Description

    Data Analyst – Full Time – London

    Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remotely)

    40 hours per week

    As a Data Analyst at Mitie, you'll be a key player in our Compliance and Assurance team. Your role will revolve around managing data using various data platforms and data lakes, crafting dashboards, and generating insights that are self-driven. You'll ensure that all reporting is accurate and timely.

    You'll also have the opportunity to review and enhance our internal processes to boost contract performance. While your role is hybrid, it may require nationwide travel and occasional stays away from home.

    Your main responsibilities will include providing data-led insights to improve contracts, managing systems used within the contract, and addressing any issues or queries that arise. You'll create dashboards, tables, and SQL queries/scripts for efficient reporting and escalate risks to the Compliance and Assurance Lead in a timely manner to allow for remediation.

    You'll support the Compliance and Assurance Lead in delivering both internal and external reporting, respond to adhoc queries promptly, and review all internal processes to improve service delivery. You'll identify key business requirements and ticketing requirements for our internal system, and work closely with the Compliance and Assurance Lead to identify any risks.

    We're looking for someone with excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and who is comfortable managing both internal and client stakeholders, including presenting and discussing data. You'll need strong business analysis and critical thinking skills, along with a proactive approach, and an ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    You should have good communication/interpersonal skills, confident presentation skills, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for accuracy and detail. You should be delivery-focused, have good problem-solving techniques, an analytical mind, and a "can do" attitude. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Power BI are bonuses as is the ability to understand how existing scripts function and the ability to amend them as required.
