Furniture Sprayer / Finisher

We are a prominent recruitment firm currently seeking a talented Sprayer for a client in the joinery and marine sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at our client's factory. The successful candidate will be in charge of prepping, staining, painting, and lacquering bespoke pieces, ensuring top-notch finishes.


Main Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces of bespoke items for finishing.
• Staining and Painting: Apply stains and paints to achieve desired finishes.
• Lacquering: Apply to protect and enhance the appearance of pieces.
• Quality Control: Ensure all finished products meet high standards.

Key Tasks:

• Sand and clean surfaces for staining and painting.
• Mix and apply stains, paints, and lacquers as needed.
• Use spraying equipment for even finishes.
• Inspect products for quality and consistency.
• Maintain and clean spraying equipment regularly.
• Follow safety protocols for material handling.
• Coordinate with the team to meet deadlines.
• Keep records of materials used and work completed.

Health & Safety:

• Implement the H&S Management System and procedures.
• Ensure work adheres to safety regulations.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Encourage a positive attitude toward health and safety.

Other Duties:

• Collab with management on safety matters.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Undertake training to stay competent.
• Report incidents or damage.
• Use equipment responsibly.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience in furniture making, particularly in spraying and finishing. Solid background in prepping, staining, painting, and lacquering bespoke pieces is key. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and dedication to quality are essential.
