- Provide ongoing care, treatment, and advice to a specific group of patients as directed by Asthma Consultants, both remotely and in outpatient clinics.
- Deliver direct care, education, and support for patients as a hospital-based specialist resource, optimizing service utilization and reducing wait times for assessments.
- Offer guidance and support to nursing and medical staff in developing care programs for adult asthma patients.
- Collaborate with the allergy team to manage challenging asthma cases.
- Support and educate Asthma nurses involved in the Biologic service.
- Provide expert advice, education, and support to patients and families to empower them in managing their treatment effectively.
- Nursing degree at BSc level.
- Relevant post-registration qualification.
- Mentorship qualification.
- Master's-level education or working towards it.
- Qualification in asthma care.

- Non-medical prescribers course qualification or aspiring to achieve it.
- Specialized clinical assessment skills including physical examination and spirometry.
