    Put your histology, technical laboratory skills and pathology experience to work in a dynamic role as part of the Pathology and Animal Sciences Department research and surveillance remit. You will be underpinning the crucial work of a dedicated agency that is tackling disease and ensuring the health of animals throughout the UK.

    About the role

    In this role, you will contribute to the innovation and delivery of scientific and technical approaches for research into investigations of animal disease pathogenesis, host responses and diagnosis for policy-driven government and externally funded projects, within the Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy (TSE) workgroup in the Pathology and Animal Sciences Department.

    About you

    Together with specialist laboratory skills in histopathology and molecular and immunodetection methods, you will need to be a good communicator, team player, motivated, able to juggle a range of priorities and have a BSc in a biological or biomedical/veterinary science.
