    Position: Teacher of Computer Science
    Location: Crawley, West Sussex
    Salary: MPS/UPS Dependent on experience
    Start Date: September 2024
    Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

    An Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school located in the vibrant town of Crawley is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Computer Science to join their permanent staff. Our school prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically and personally.

    Responsibilities:
    The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality computer science education to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. They will be expected to:
    *Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students.
    *Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
    *Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for computer science.
    *Support the school's commitment to continuous improvement and contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
    *Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.

    Requirements:
    *A recognized teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
    *A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    *Proven experience teaching computer science at the secondary level.
    *Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and examination specifications.
    *Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
    *Commitment to professional development and willingness to participate in training and development activities.
    *Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
    *A proactive and positive approach to challenges and change.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
