An opportunity has arisen in the Medicine Division to join our nursing team within Stroke Services on Daybrook Ward as a Band 2 Health Care Assistant at City Campus.

Daybrook is a Stroke Rehabilitation ward.


We are looking for a HCA who is dedicated and committed and has the ability to be part of a team as well as working autonomously to provide high quality dignified care to our patients in a safe environment.

Daybrook Ward provides care and rehabilitation for stroke patients. We are a friendly professional and supportive team who work at the heart of the stroke service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities


Required to carry out a number of designated tasks, of which will involve direct care, in support of and under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Work as an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team.

Following appropriate training and assessment, undertake clinical and non-clinical duties in support of the registered nurse.

The post holder is not required to hold statutory qualifications but will need to complete their care certificate.

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
