    Senior Climate Manager, Sustainability Manager
    Rate - £700 a day to overall assignment rate of umbrella
    Duration - Until December with the potential of permanent employment

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Climate Manager to join a leading financial services company to help deliver a commitment to Net Zero.

    This role would suit someone who has a strong understanding of climate strategy, net zero pathways, carbon reporting methodologies, climate metrics and experience working within complex technical concepts and data relating to the transition to net zero and related external reporting.

    Provide expertise and leadership in climate science to help shape the overall direction of the team's technical work and deliver projects to support the transition to net zero of our investments, including sector and asset class decarbonisation and developing and implementing robust carbon performance frameworks.

    Undertake bespoke analysis of climate related data, contribute to internal and external reports and work with the Decarbonisation Lead and others to increase dissemination and uptake of outputs.

    Developing frameworks and tools to support the implementation of the net zero roadmap

    Keep up to date with external developments and guidance, new knowledge, and initiatives on climate change, prepare briefings and undertake reviews to inform our discussions and planning.

    Scope, project-manage, and drive relevant work and engage effectively with stakeholders and contributors
    Ensure all output (internal or external) is of high quality and produced in a timely manner. Experience built in similar roles delivering climate-focused technical leadership in the financial, academia, or other sector.

    Expertise in climate science, including hands-on experience in developing and / or applying sector and regional carbon pathways and carbon reporting methodologies, and capturing transition and physical risks.

    Strong experience using climate data and very good knowledge of climate metrics, ESG / climate datasets and providers
    Finance, sustainability, or other science degree (or relevant work experience)
