The Opportunity;

We are looking for an individual to join a renowned academic institution on a part time basis as a HR Officer.


The main responsibilities for this role include:

  • Assisting the organisation with general HR support to senior leaders.
  • Being the first point of contact for HR related queries.
  • HR generalist activity including: HR admin, employee relations, recruitment, employee lifecycle and project work.
  • Advising on employment law.
  • Maintaining information systems.
  • Consulting with Trade Unions as required.
  • Assisting with payroll submissions and reports.

Package:
This is a part time position, 16 hours per week over the full year. Term time working arrangements considered. Salary - £23,122 - £28,377 FTE, generous benefits package.

The Person;

  • CIPD Level 3 or be working towards.
  • Previous HR experience in a generalist advisory capacity
  • Brilliant people skills
  • Well organised and efficient
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and HRIS.
