About the role:
Working as part of a team, you will provide effective and efficient administrative support to Children Service's Teams.
Your duties will be varied and include:
Typing letters, managing correspondence, receiving telephone calls and taking messages from both internal and external customers, note taking at meetings, inputting to the Councils databases and electronic systems, financial responsibilities, meeting deadlines and other general administrative duties.
You must be able to work flexibly to respond to service demand, be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise a varied and challenging workload efficiently, have both good verbal and written communication and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Any-Desk:
As an 'any-desk' worker, you'll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required.
You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.
About you:
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Possesses good communication skills and accurate attention to detail.
- Knowledge and experience of taking meeting minutes.
- Educated to GCSE / NVQ2 standard or equivalent, including in English and Maths.
- Keen to learn and able to juggle priorities effectively, often with conflicting demands.
- Caring and helpful and able to work as part of a team.
- Customer focused and has a can do attitude.
Other information:
Part Time 21 hours - based in Aylesbury (Permanent Contract). The salary advertised will be pro-rata.
