    Description

    Job Title: IT Compliance Analyst

    Company: Scientific Company based in Cambridge

    Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

    We are collaborating with a scientific organization located in Cambridge to find an IT Compliance Analyst to become part of their highly successful IT team. The emphasis here is on IT Governance, crafting policies, complying with security regulations, and also providing general IT Support.

    This is a fresh position within the company, which means you have the chance to slightly mold the role according to your skills and interests. We are particularly interested in individuals who are currently operating in an IT Support capacity but have exposure to IT Governance, Audits, or Policy creation. Make sure to highlight these aspects on your CV or Cover Letter.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring adherence to IT Security Standards (ISO27001)
    • Developing IT policies
    • Providing internal IT Support
    • Conducting IT Risk Assessments
    • Assisting with IT audits

    Requirements:

    • Currently (or previously) engaged in an IT Support position, with a keen interest in IT Security standards, processes, and governance
    • Documentation of experience in data/security governance, IT policy formulation, or involvement in security audits
    • Familiarity with ISO27001 and/or CyberEssentials
    • Must possess the right to work and reside in the UK without restrictions
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
    • Located at a reasonably commutable distance from Cambridge
