We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Health Technical Officer (Residential) to join us
This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £27,372 - £31,169 per annum.

The Role:


  • Working within our Housing and Public Protection Team you will be responsible for carrying out HHSRS inspections in both single and multioccupancy dwellings.

You will be responsible for:


  • Responding to service requests, investigating complaints across the range of private sector housing including mobile homes and unauthorised encampments. Taking the appropriate enforcement action to bring both single dwellings and HMOs up to standard and actively seek out unlicenced HMOs.
