BCHC have an exciting opportunity for a registered Senior Nurse to join and be a big part our newly established International Recruitment Team as an International Recruitment Clinical Co-ordinator.


Our International Recruitment team will make a vital contribution to all our services by working closely with our Recruitment team, clinical staff, and managers to ensure that their vacancy gaps are covered with international recruitees.

The International Recruitment Clinical Co-ordinator post is a key role within our Trust as a whole, supporting the international recruitees to develop and practice fundamental skills.


Working closely with professional development to training and educational programmes that will enhance the learning experiences of the international recruitees.

This is the ideal opportunity for a senior Registered Nurse with the right clinical skills, with an interest in education, and significant experience to make a real difference.


Working as part of a dynamic International Recruitment team, you will lead clinically to support with the delivery of an efficient and clinically effective service, working in close partnership with our Clinical Divisions and Recruitment teams.

You will have core responsibility for ensuring the educational delivery of a proactive and effective learning programme for international nurses.

This role will be required to work closely with all Divisions including regular visits to sites to develop relationships with international recruits and unique requirements of services within the Divisions.


As the clinical co-ordinator for International Recruitment in the Trust, the post holder will work to develop and implement a robust International Recruitment educational programme to ensure that the Trust's commitment to international recruitees will ensure that there is retention and access to a robust career planning strategy.

Collaboration with external stakeholders is essential to role as retention initiatives are developed and implemented.


Production of educational and competency-based data in support of achieving key performance targets will be a significant feature of the role.


To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate that you have international recruitment knowledge with tried and tested clinical and leadership skills to drive forward the qualitative nature of the role.


IMPORTANT

  • Provide and receive complex sensitive information; barriers to understanding /provide and receive highly complex, sensitive or contentious information and present complex, sensitive and contentious information to large groups/cohorts of IR nurses and AHPs. Communicates to all related information to patients, IR nurses and members of the preceptorship team and CTMs in the clinical environment
  • Management and leadership of clinical education and training provision for International Recruits across the divisions; this includes the planning, delivery and evaluation of professional education and training activities, training programmes, continuing professional development, induction, and skills training for the IR clinical workforce
  • Lead on and provide specialist knowledge and advice and guidance re clinical education and training programmes for IR recruits.
  • Work with the Deputy Head of Clinical Education, Clinical Development Nurse, Clinical Practice Manager and Specialty Leads, to monitor, evaluate and develop high quality, evidence based clinical education.
  • To implement and monitor all current legislations and relevant policies and/or procedures as identified by the organisation into the relevant training and development programmes for International Recruitees.
  • Leading on a broad range of training programmes and educational activities, including identification of training opportunities, and coordination of projects to assess and/or improve clinical education provided to International Recruitees.
  • Responsible in Supporting the Clinical Practice Manager in ensuring the appropriate development of quality assured, competency based clinical Development programmes are available for International Recruitees.
  • Ensure data collection and reporting processes are completed and ensuring that others within the team are providing comprehensive data for analysis by post holder, which are necessary for quality assurance to be given to the IR lead.
  • Ensure evidence and systems are in place for robust reporting for educational governance and quality assurance to be given to NHSE Midlands Working Nurse force via IR lead. This will involve complex reports being completed by post holder.
  • Undertake analysis and interpretation of complex data and to complete option appraisals in order to quantify results and development of specialist programmes
