Department Role in Achieving Vision


The marketing team play a critical role in achieving our business objectives, by developing and communicating the business's compelling proposition to the market, by driving leads into the business and coordinating our eCommerce business.

Sitting within the marketing team, The Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator will be bridging between the Sales and Marketing teams.

First and foremost, you will be co-ordinating with the sales team to produce and submit bids, tenders and customer proposals between a variety of purchasing portals and Microsoft documents.

Because of this, this role requires the highest levels of attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure to specific deadlines.


Alongside this, you will also be ensuring that all sales and marketing collateral/resources are up to date and located in the right areas.

This includes, but is not limited to, creating and updating product specification sheets, updating technical information on our website, and managing our internal media library.

Just like the key skill sets required for the bids and tenders, this element if the role requires the highest levels of attention to detail.


Finally, as a key member of the marketing team who is focussed on the promotion of the brand, you will also be assisting in new lead generation and customer acquisitions by supporting and overseeing key industry events and managing our company merchandise stock holding.


Responsibilities

  • Coordination and submission of all information pertaining to bids/tenders which the company choose to be involved in.
  • Liaising with and supporting the relevant sales, product and marketing team members to ensure all required information is in place prior to deadlines.
  • Utilise procurement websites, portals, and notification services to track new opportunities to tender for.
  • Willingness to learn and understand our product ranges so you can then to be able to identify the most suitable opportunities to tender for.
  • Liaising with the Product team to check, update and create specification sheets for our product range and ensuring product pages on our website reflects this.
  • Taking full ownership of our sales support materials to ensure content is uptodate, tidy and ready for the sales team to utilise.
  • Responsibility for ordering and keeping track of merchandise
  • Assisting and overseeing key industry events
  • Any additional ad hoc sales and marketing support duties, such as stock management on the website and order processing.

  • Previous administration experience required.

Desirable - Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in sales and marketing
  • Previous use of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of the Magento Platform
  • A passion for the fitness industry and good knowledge of Origin's product and service offering
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite
