Function: Production Team - Camera - Lighting

Compensation: £30,000 - £36,000 + Benefit Scheme + 27 Days Paid Holiday

We are one of the few D2C creative agencies that have an in-house design, production, strategy and UGC team all under one roof.

In 2023, we grew exponentially as an agency and the Senior Videographer role will play a pivotal and exciting part in our continued growth and progression of our performance creative division. The role will join our talented production team. As your bolt-on creative division, we strategise, ideate, create, and optimise exceptional creative content, including UGC, high-production, design, and motion graphic ads. We pride ourselves on being a one-stop performance creative solution, acting as an in-house creative team for our clients.

We are looking for a creative and experienced videographer based in or near Manchester to join our team and help lead the expansion of Hambi Media's production department. The role will see you become the first team member of Senior Videographer (Manchester based) 2 our Manchester-based production team to create high-production social media ad content for our vast range of e-commerce clients.

Responsibilities:

• Filming product focussed content for e-commerce brands with Sony cameras either alone or alongside a DOP
• Filming studio and interview-based video content for e-commerce brands with Sony cameras either alone or alongside a DOP
• Shoot and occasionally produce short-form UGC and high-production ad creative tailored for social media and optimised for e-commerce brands
• Shoot and occasionally produce & powerful motion graphic style videos (including text animations and utilising tools such as Adobe After Effects)
• Shoot and occasionally produce longer-form brand-focused content for brand's online platforms
• Collaborate with our creative team to develop and execute innovative content pieces for our clients Utilise platform-specific features and tools to enhance video content and ensure it aligns with clients' branding and marketing objectives
• Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok and Meta trends, features, and best practices, and integrate these insights into content creation
• Analyse video performance data and make data-driven decisions to improve future content
• Work closely with clients to understand their brand identity, target audience, and marketing goals, and tailor content accordingly
• Communicate effectively with remote team members and clients to ensure a smooth and successful content production process.
• The role will evolve over time to include working with more Manchester-based production team members, such as producers, directors & other videographers as this part of the business grows.

Requirements

• Proven experience (4+ years) in video editing and production, preferably within the e-commerce industry
• Proven experience (4+ years) shooting commercial/ social media-driven video content
• Some experience in editing for social media ads (such as UGC, motion graphic and high-production)
• Strong understanding in shooting dynamic product and talent-based social ads that grab attention visually and showcase products in socially native ways.
• Strong communication skills and a proven ability to understand, communicate and solve production problems quickly and independently.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut, Adobe After Effects or similar tools
• Strong understanding of TikTok and Meta, its features, and what makes content on the platform engaging and shareable
• Knowledge of short-form video content best practices, as well as what drives conversions and sales on social media Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong attention to detail (including strong ability in speaking and writing the English language)
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of additional social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube) is a plus
