The Supply Service are recruiting for a Children's Residential Support Worker on behalf of a client based in Chester, Cheshire


Our client are a vibrant residential provision that provides integrated Education & Care to children between the ages of 8 years & 19 years with autism.

They're dedicated to caring and making a difference to the lives of vulnerable children & young people and seek to add to their supportive and passionate team.

A full specialist induction, support and continued personal development is available


Successful applicants will:

  • Work holistically as part of a team with staff and families to plan, practice and collect evidence of progress within the 24hour extended curriculum.
  • Create a positive environment, reflective of the companies culture and ethos.
  • Work with children & young people both individually and in small groups supporting them to overcome barriers to learning, providing positive behaviour support and delivering other focused interventions.
  • Act as the key worker for one pupil, taking responsibility for coordinating their resources, monitoring their daily data, and advocating for them within team meetings.
  • Uphold the companies policies to protect and safeguard children and vulnerable adults in order to secure their health, safety and wellbeing.

A good standard of education is required and applicants must either hold or be prepared to work towards a Diploma / NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children & Young People.

Salary:
£21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
