Full time 35 hours per week, permanent

The Opportunity:


The mission of the Edinburgh Futures Institute's Business Engagement Team is to support the University in building a challenge-led portfolio of activity with demonstrable ethical, social, cultural, economic and environmental impact.

The EFI Business Engagement Executive (BEE) will play a key role in this mission by providing business development, marketing, organisational, analytical and commercial management support.

The post holder will work collaboratively with another BEE to support engagement across all of EFI's target sectors.


For this role, we are looking for someone to focus primarily on supporting engagement with Financial Services, Fintech and Public Services sectors.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills;
  • Highly skilled in business development, including experience of commercial management and contributing to an endtoend BD process;
  • Significant clientfacing experience, and a passion for building meaningful business relationships;
  • Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to use data to generate actionable insights.
