Metalis Engineering recruitment are currently supporting a leading Aerospace manufacturer who require a Project Manager to join their technical team.


You'll be working hand in hand with prestige aerospace clients such as Rolls Royce, Boeing, Air Bus, GK Aerospace and Safran to name a few.


Role Overview:


As a project manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of projects for a wide range of blue-chip aerospace clients.

You will have experience directing projects in ever-changing environments and will have strategic visionary and project leadership skills.


Job Requirements:


  • You will be providing project plans and delivery schedules to a wide variety of clients inline with their requirements
  • Managing the activities of the project technical team and subcontractor businesses
  • Controlling project budgets and spend, presenting commercial KPIs with Directors and Stake Holders.
  • Managing resources as effectively and efficiently as possible to ensure no bottle necks
  • You will be defining technical requirements and managing client expectations
  • You will be involved in progress reports to client which will include the management of conflicts and providing resolutions where and when necessary
  • Engaging internal stakeholders and holding weekly project reviews and reporting project status
  • Your role will involve maintaining high levels of On-Time and On-Quality delivery, through the monitoring of quality KPIs
  • In this role you will be working with technical leads to develop proposals

Person Profile:


  • Previous project management experience is essential, ideally within aerospace manufacturing
  • Skilled problem solver; able to quickly identify and correct risks and gaps arising throughout project lifecycles.
  • You will be conscious of business revenue and growth goals to enhance profits and ROI
  • You will have proven experience in constructing project management frameworks for companies.
  • You will be able to maximize and blossom relationships with clients
