THE ROLE

Communisis are looking for a Finance Business Partner - Commercial to join our team in Leeds to be trusted business partner to the Commercial leadership and sales team. Act as Finance lead on revenue reporting, ensuring financial impact of renewals and new business is clearly communicated to the business for budgeting and forecasting purposes.

This would suit someone who is looking to progress and advance their skills/experience in an FBP role and can work autonomously but is also a willing team player.

You would be joining a diverse team in an international business.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for reporting revenue for Customer Experience
  • Regular reporting on the sales pipeline working closely with the bid and sales team to add insight into closed/won and closed/lost status and changes from prior forecast
  • Key finance stakeholder in the bid/tender process for on all new logos.
  • Help to produce a full P&L for all bids and renewals with a clear understanding of contribution as well as EBITDA.
  • In advance of any renewals proactively working with the business to ensure the current performance/profitability and complexities of the customer are understood for budget and forecast purposes
  • Post implementation reviews to ensure bids/renewals are delivering as expected
  • A strong understanding of the legal/contractual terms of our customer contracts
  • Work proactively with the CE finance team to understand and consolidate customer and product profitability
  • Help implement a clear and concise governance framework and ensure this is adhered to
  • Continual review of pricing and costing strategies working closely with the Commercial Director
  • Other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of Finance

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Experience working in a financial business partner capacity
  • Knowledge of Commercial / Bid management/negotiations, supply chain and logistics
  • Exposure to a large / multinational business would be an advantage
  • Strong intrapersonal skills, ability to build relationships and generate trust when working without face to face contact.
  • Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Print Management would be an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail while being able to demonstrate a strategic understanding.
  • The ability to remain objective and independent, bring the truth to the business and potentially delivering difficult messages when required.
  • Commercial acumen, awareness of business planning, P&L management and accounting concepts.
  • Strong communication and team working abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of the financial management and budget processes.
