Our team strive to provide the best possible care to ensure that the complex needs of our residents are met and exceeded at all times.

We are looking for flexible individuals to assist in the restaurant on a rota basis.

Hours are 4-7pm on a rota basis with some weekend work.

Part-time/ Full time hours: From 6 per week

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Activities:
Tasks may vary on a daily basis as determined by the Ancillary Manager, but primarily will include:
Preparing breakfast giving a full choice to residents as per the menu.

Clear tables, tidy restaurant and prepare tables for lunch.

Serve main lunches from the heated server, giving a full choice of menu to residents.

Plating up individual trays for care staff to take to bedrooms.

Assisting care staff to wait on residents offering hot/cold drinks/desserts

Clearing up and washing crockery and cutlery

Clearing and cleaning of tables/chairs/floors and kitchen area following lunch service

Undertaking training as per training organization schedule

Ensuring that the hygiene standards are met

Stocking up and re-filling of cleaning materials, condiments, serviettes etc daily.

Practicing infection control and health and safety precautions as per training.

Ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to. Report any issues or concerns to Line Manager.


To complete any documentation including temperatures of food as required as per training and adhere to all Management instructions regarding standards and service.


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Friendly, creative and confident
  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS Check and where applicable a check against the DBS First List


Staff may be required to wear PPE including masks, undergo regular LFT and PCR testing if required according to government guidelines at the time.
