Finance Manager - Job Role:

  • To group timetable


  • Working Capital Analysis

  • Especially stock movements
  • Commentary on operational and commercial performance
  • To agreed timetable each month
  • To provide reconciliations for all key balance sheet accounts and commentary on significant movements each period


  • Fixed Asset Register

  • Ensure all assets are recorded to local (or if superseded by group) policies
  • Monitor group financial controls and policies and highlight any internal gaps for review
  • Stock takes and cycle counts
  • Physical presence


  • Revenue Recognition

  • Ensuring billing / shipments align to accounting period
  • Focus on internal working capital and cash balances
  • Internal Audits / Testing
  • VAT and ONS Returns
  • Customs / IncoTerms experience (desirable)
  • Weekly Sales and Orders report issued to group
  • Cash flow forecasts for CPM business completed each Monday for review


  • Weekly Operational checks

  • Shop issues being released / stock being issued
  • Business Partnering with other departments
  • Support with Budgets and Forecasts
  • Supporting AP and AR functions with queries
  • Ad hoc duties and reports

Finance Manager - Person Requirements:

  • A CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualification is a mandatory requirement for this role.
  • Will ideally have worked within a manufacturing / production environment within the finance department.
