Support the sites engineering and maintenance departments working within a 24/7 low tier chemical COMAH manufacturing site.
Providing C&E, I engineering support across a variety of small scale (kg) batch manufacturing plants up to large scale continuous process manufacturing plants.
Job responsibilities:
1. Lead C & E, I Engineering on site
2. Lead improvements and optimization projects on existing plant and facilities
3. Carry out engineering feasibility studies as part of the budgeting and project processes
4. Provide Electrical engineering expertise into safety activities and other safety improvement projects.
5. Take a leadership role with respect to company engineering standards & systems associated with C & E, I Engineer
6. Manage small CAPEX projects and improvements involving staff from maintenance, engineering, & operations.
7. Work closely with the Maintenance team to root cause breakdowns and provide technical expertise to support plant trouble shooting.
8. Ensure full compliance is met and adhered too across a range of electrical functions including ATEX, DSEAR, HV/LV.
9. Review existing and develop new SLA with third party vendors for critical equipment and systems used on site.
10. Trouble shooting DCS issues (ABB 800xA, Satline and Siemens PCS7)
11. Exposure to and knowledge of GAMP regulations
