The Position
Newly Weds Foods Ltd are currently seeking to recruit an
experienced Customer Service Advisor within our Supply Chain Department. This is a busy and exciting role, based at the UK and European Head Office in Ossett.

Reporting into the Customer Service Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for meeting the needs of our UK and European customers (mainly in France and Western Europe).

Key Responsibilities

To receive, check, enter and confirm orders, monitor consignment progress at manufacturer for dispatch, arrange freight: If required, prepare all export documentation as required.
Record stock receipts and sales.
Arrange transfer of stock from Ossett to relevant warehouse to keep quantities to a prearranged minimum.
Actively work towards a nil level of complaints attributable to the team and work to a "Right first time" policy.
No direct budget responsibilities, but key in achieving output, efficiency and wastage targets.
Record all activities accurately on all relevant packages, ensuring to report and rectify any discrepancies highlighted.
To interpret and analyse information, in addition to being able to use systems for reporting purposes.
Ensure that work is prioritised in accordance with Customer Demand, and any changes to scheduling are discussed with the Customer if necessary.
Be proactively responsive to customer need and Plant production capability, around lead times, delivery requirements and floor stock holdings.

Person Specification

Previous customer service experience is essential.
Having a European language (especially French) would be beneficial to the role.
The successful applicant must be able to prioritise their workload, work to deadlines and work effectively when under pressure as well as demonstrating interpersonal skills and has the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Good IT skills are required.

Hours of work
This is working a basic 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday. However due to the nature of this role you will need to demonstrate a certain amount of flexibility.
