We made our name by building winning competition cars but we've grown far beyond the race track.

Our capabilities include complete ground-up design, build and manufacturing commissions from one-off concept cars to low volume production road cars.

All of this takes place at our facility in Wellingborough where you get to see the projects come to life.

With so many exciting projects on the go, we are looking to expand our team and have a vacancy for a
Production Control Co-ordinator to liaise with our Engineering Team and define our prototype and production processes.

This role will be our ambassador for continuous improvement ensuring the most efficient use of our resources with a focus on delivery, quality and cost.


The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Defining order and flow of build
  • Hosting build meetings
  • Signing off of DFA during the engineering Process
  • Liaising with engineering teams on build tooling and jigging strategy and design
  • Control of process changes relating to design
  • Defining schedule and timeline for build
  • Defining content for build stations and driving BOM and release schedule
  • Understanding facility requirements and implement flexible future proof solutions
  • Build station and EOL sign off including testing
  • Accountable for Build Book and Work Instructions
  • Liaising with SQA on quality sign off supplier/transport fixtures/critical items for build handling/storage
  • Parts to build strategy, e.g. lineside, sub assembly
  • Productionise process for production run
In terms of experience, we need you to have:

  • Previous experience as a manufacturing/process engineer in an automotive environment
  • Background in vehicle build or conversion
  • Experienced in problem solving techniques
  • ISO TS16949 Quality standard experience
  • Experienced at improving production processes through rigorous data analysis
  • Experienced in Lean manufacturing techniques
  • Builtin quality control experience
  • Capable of introducing new engineering, machines and processes including creation of SOPs
