Description
This role is an integral part of the School of Health Sciences student experience team, with specific responsibility for supporting the delivery of teaching and assessment within the Clinical Skills Teaching Rooms and Simulation Rooms in the School.
This role involves the leadership of the technician team within Clinical Skills, in order to provide optimum organisation, maintenance and preparation of teaching/assessment spaces and equipment.
You will support technical staff to use and support specialist technologies and to provide of assistance to students and academic staff before, during and after teaching sessions (including face-to-face, hybrid and on-line teaching delivery).
The successful applicant will work closely with the Academic Leads for Clinical Skills/Clinical Simulation within the School.
You should have BTEC Higher Level or equivalent work experience and experience of working in a technician role within an educational or NHS Trust setting, with experience of supervising junior staff.
