Part of the major American corporation, PCC, we are a global manufacturer of complex metal components and supply products worldwide to our prestigious blue-chip customers.

An opportunity has arisen for a Forge Team Worker to join our Operations team based in Lincoln, working on a 2 shift basis.

This position is responsible for assisting with the safe forging of our products in line with all specifications to ensure we meet quality standards.

Specifically this will include:

Adherence to all safety and quality processes and procedures.

Ensuring that high standards of health, safety and housekeeping are consistently met

To input new programmes and modify existing programmes on computer controls.

To organise die and tool storage and heating of dies in readiness for production.

To undertake fettling, painting of billets and shotblasting duties

To carry out repairs to dies and tools during production.

To ensure customer specifications are achieved e.g. check dimensions against process sheets or sketches.

To undertake forge inspection.

To brand and record part and serial numbers or other required numbers.

To carry out the cleaning of the pits and painting work areas as required.

To assist with the successful introduction of new/modified parts.

Pay:
£26,000.00-£28,200.00 per year
