    Description

    Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, (LGT) is a provider of local and acute care services to over one million people living in the London boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich, and Bexley. The trust focuses on delivering high-quality care and supports the community in living healthier lives.

    Employing around 7,500 colleagues, known as Team LGT, the trust offers services at various locations including Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University Hospital Lewisham, and multiple community settings across Lewisham. Additionally, some services are provided at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup.

    As a center for education and training, LGT collaborates with King's College London's GKT School of Medical Education and provides training for nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals.

    LGT is seeking a motivated individual to join the Workforce Intelligence team and help deliver a high-quality workforce information service.

    The role involves providing specialist systems support, maintaining and developing ESR and its modules, and preparing customized workforce reports for various stakeholders.

    Detailed job description and main responsibilities

    The ideal candidate should have experience in analyzing and presenting large datasets, knowledge of ESR reporting, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

    Specialist knowledge of ESR or similar HR systems, advanced Excel, and Power BI skills are essential.

    Essential criteria

    • Educated to degree level or equivalent
    • Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent IT qualifications

    Desirable criteria

    • Degree in a statistical field
    • Training qualification or relevant experience
    • CIPD qualification

    Essential criteria

    • Specialist knowledge of information analysis, ESR, and BI report development
    • Proficiency in MS Office 365 software, especially Excel and Power BI
    • Strong report writing skills
    • Meticulous attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Effective communication and presentation abilities

    Desirable criteria

    • Familiarity with Workforce Information tools and resources
    • Knowledge of tax, NI contributions, statutory conditions, and NHS Pension scheme
    • Advanced MS Office skills

    Experience

    Essential criteria

    • Experience in handling large datasets
    • Data analysis, interpretation, and presentation experience
    • Work experience in the NHS
    • Supervisory experience

    Desirable criteria

    • Prior experience in a Workforce Information role
    • Experience in delivering training
