In this role you will support the Royal London Group undertake its legal and regulatory obligations through the provision of quality governance support and the efficient delivery of Board and Committee meeting support.

About the role

Provide Secretarial support to Pension Trustee Boards and ad hoc Tier 2, 3 and 4 Subsidiary Board Meetings.
Provide governance support in respect of Projects, BAU and cyclical activities.
Undertake line Management duties / team coaching and development.
Support the Group Secretariat Team with the delivery of flawless execution of the Board and Committee cycle process.
Provide Secretarial support cover, when needed to Royal London Management Insurance Society Limited ('RLMIS') Committees.

About you


Newly qualified or studying towards a Company Secretarial or Pensions Management Institute qualification, or a graduate seeking to develop a career in governance.

Knowledge of governance best practice, relevant issues, statutory requirements and regulations and new upcoming trends in the industry.
Experience in the engagement with Non-executive directors and Board/Committee chairs.
Excellent stakeholder management and organisational and IT skills.
Ability to prioritise and demonstrate initiative and work proactively with a high degree of professionalism.
