An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SENDCo to work across two of our schools

  • Wainfleet The Magdalen Church of England / Methodist Primary School.
  • Friskney All Saints C of E Primary School.

SENDCo


LAAT is a Multi-Academy Trust formed by the Diocese of Lincoln in 2013; and has grown to serve twenty academies across three local authorities of Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, and North-East Lincolnshire.


As a Church of England / Methodist primary school within the Diocese of Lincoln, our values are rooted and grounded in the Christian faith.

We are very much a 'team' at the Magdalen School; staff, pupils, parents and Governors work closely together to ensure that pupils not only develop their potential but also become responsible and self motivated members of our community, mature in body, mind and spirit.

The post is part-time (3 day per week) split between Friskney and Wainfleet schools

  • 1 day at Friskney All Saints C of E Primary School
  • 2 days at Wainfleet Magdalen C of E and Methodist Primary School


We are looking for someone who has SENDCo experience that can support and work closely with the headteachers across the two schools, the senior leadership teams and outside agencies.

Overseeing and managing the SEN provision at both sites and providing support to other teachers working with children who have SEN to identify and support their needs is also part of the
role.

_Fluency Duty_:


  • In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post._
