Role Overview

  • Enable work in local communities to make physical activity accessible and inclusive for everyone. The role will be instrumental in working within two local communities in Wandsworth; Doddington and Rollo and Henry Prince Estates to engage with local residents across the community to support the delivery of physical activity programmes, consulting with local residents to understand interests, motivations and barriers.
Main


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the successful delivery of Enable's placebased physical activity project on the Doddington and Rollo Estates, Battersea and Henry Prince Estate, Wandsworth.
  • Create and lead the development of placebased activity programme and develop local partnerships on the estates
  • Ensure good representation of all groups on the estate, including youth voice, local organisations and resident associations
  • In partnership with the local community network, develop a shared campaign and branding for the project which generates local interest and responds to local need and feedback.
  • Create and maintain a local contact database to support the sustainability of the group and activities. Work with coaches, instructors and volunteers in setting up, monitoring and evaluating sessions.
  • Codesign and manage a programme of activities on the estates which support locally identified outcomes.
  • In partnership with local people and organisations, deliver or support local celebration events on the estates.
  • Facilitate and seek greater connection for local residents, partners and stakeholders to maximise the benefit of community programmes and facilities.
  • Report key performance data from activities, including the collection of this data. Utilize the Views and Participant systems, along with other methods to record key outcomes and indicators effectively to ensure reporting is accurate and delivered ontime.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of your work. Provide written reports, summaries and presentations as required. Collect feedback and case studies to evaluate the impact of the programmes.
  • Monitor and document income and expenditure, working within the programme budget. Complete financial administration tasks such as creating purchase orders and invoices, according to Enable policy and procedure.
  • Complete appropriate risk assessments for place based activities and events and review regularly.
  • Assists in managing resources provided to support the departments work including staff, volunteers, materials, and equipment ensuring these are used and maintained effectively.
