    This international Professional Services organisation are seeking a Finance Director to their management team. This is initially a 12-month Fixed Term contract, reporting to the CEO. This is a hybrid role with international travel.

    What will you be doing as Finance Director?

    • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with the overall business goals and objectives.
    • Monitor and manage the financial performance of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
    • Lead and manage the finance team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
    • Work with their shared service centre in Bulgaria
    • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports and ensure they comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage the company's cash flow, investment strategy, and financial risk management.
    • Provide financial guidance to the executive team and Board of Directors to support strategic decision-making.
    • Evaluate financial performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and financial institutions.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest financial trends, tools, and technologies and recommend new approaches to improve financial processes and procedures.

    What are we looking for in our Finance Director?

    • Highly experienced in a senior finance position with an overall understanding of all aspects of the finance function within a large organisation
    • Experience in leading change and developing ways of improving financial management processes
    • International experience – working with finance teams across Europe including shared service centres.
    • Experience in large team management (c. 80+ employees)
    • A forward-thinking mentality with a desire to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
