Workshop Supervisor

£35,000-£40,000

Lancashire

Monday to Friday (45 hours a week)

Located in Lancashire, our company specialises in the conversion and hire of commercial vehicles, primarily for the traffic management, civils and blue light market.

As a Workshop Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge technology to improve road safety and sustainability. Your role is more than just oversight; it's about helping to shape the future of transportation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Working closely with staff, carrying out annual reviews and training with new staff.
Facilitate efficient production through communication, liaison and coordination.
Maintain a safe place of work by maintaining critical focus on safety and environmental management issues.
Evaluate progress and identify improvements to inform future projects.

Essential Requirements:

Trade qualifications in the field of fabrication or motor vehicle mechanics.
Experience in commercial vehicle body building or manufacturing.
Experience in people management.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, workshop manuals and electrical & hydraulic diagrams.
Current drivers car licence, HGV licence an advantage.
Be able to identify and act on opportunities to provide coaching mentoring.
