Description
The position involves working with the Office Manager and team in a very busy production environmentAnswering customer queries on the phone relating to progress of orders, amendments, delivery dates and directing calls to the relevant department - estimating, production, transport or Art Glass
Dealing with customers, drivers (collections and deliveries) at the Reception window
General office administration (delivery notes for drivers, filing, photocopying etc)
The successful applicant MUST:
Have a minimum of 1 years' previous experience in customer service in an INDUSTRIAL OR MANUFACTURING environment
Full training will be given on our order entry system
Be computer literate, showing excellent attention to detail
Be confident working with figures and measurements - Maths GCSE or equivalent. Excel skills would be an advantage
Be a good team worker and have excellent communication skills
Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm (40 hours per week, 1⁄2 hour lunch)
Holidays: 30 days inclusive of bank holidays (in a full holiday year)
