A start-up wealth manager is seeking an experienced, hands-on Head of Compliance to join them as SMF16/17 at an exciting stage of their development.


This is a key role for the business and requires someone with experience of launching a compliance function from scratch in a standalone capacity.

As the business grows, there will be opportunity to grow a team but it will be a very hands-on role initially.

Experience of retail investments/wealth management/financial planning is essential and ideally relevant financial planning qualifications (Diploma or Chartered an advantage). Exposure to ESG investment exposure would also be beneficial.

You will have previouslyheld SMF16/17 or had responsibility as sole compliance officer, reporting into a non-compliance director who held the controlled functions.

  • Risk (operational, market and investment)
  • Financial Crime
  • GDPR
  • M&A activity
This role will be London based with an expectation to work from the office 2-3 days a week.
