    Description

    Job Title: Investment Manager at a National Wealth Management Firm

    Our client, a national wealth management firm, is in search of an experienced Investment Manager to join their successful team.

    This role plays a crucial part in the company's growth strategy, requiring someone with a solid client base or exceptional business development skills. The position offers a clear progression path and strong support from a top player in the industry. The firm provides various services to individual and corporate clients, presenting ample opportunities for referrals.

    You will be responsible for offering personalized investment advice and managing discretionary portfolios for clients. Collaborating with Financial Planning colleagues to build strong relationships is also key.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Certified Investment Manager (CISI Level 6 or above, aiming for Level 7) or CFA Chartered
    • Proven experience in handling discretionary investment portfolios, providing investment advice, and restructuring portfolios
    • Deep understanding of Financial Planning, client advice, as well as complex and high-risk advisory areas
    • Thorough knowledge of financial markets, risk management techniques, and regulatory standards
    • Track record of leading pitches and securing new business

    This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with an expectation of 3 days a week in the office.
