Customer Sales Advisor - Salary from £23,000 - £25,000 (OTE 27,000-29,000), Tunbridge Wells

Things you need to know:


  • These are permanent roles
  • We are based in Tunbridge Wells with access from local bus routes and a 10minute walk from train links
  • Our working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts patterns between 9am8pm
  • The starting salary is £23,000
  • £25,000 in addition to OTE potential of £27,000£29,000
  • We have a structured 2week initial training programme and a dedicated training team to ensure you have all the support you need to be successful throughout continued training. After 6Months of employment the opportunity to enrol onto a CII qualification will become available

A bit about the job:


In this role you will be helping a variety of small to medium size businesses find insurance policies that meet their needs.

You will speak to new and existing customers who have made an appointment to discuss their insurance (there is no cold calling) and use your communication skills to build a rapport, gather the right information to understand their needs and help them find the right insurance policy, supporting them and providing excellent customer service along the way.


You might need to balance multiple tasks at the same time, utilise a range of systems and will work in a dynamic, friendly, agile team.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Previous call centre experience is not necessary. We provide full training which covers everything from our product range to our phone system. It's all very simple with the right training and support
  • We hire great people from lots of different backgrounds. Some of our Customer Service had experience of working for other insurance companies or in call centres before joining us, but lots of our colleagues join us from jobs within retail, hospitality, care, education, or sales and share our passion for helping people
  • Qualifications are not essential, but you will be able to perform basic maths tasks, use IT systems and have a keen eye for detail
  • You will enjoy speaking to people and will use your outstanding communication skills to speak openly and expertly on the phone to customers. You will be able to build strong rapport and take a genuine interest in their needs
  • Great team working skills, we work together to help our customers, share ideas to help each other and have lots of fun working together
  • You will be motivated by working to exceed targets and will combine that focus with the need to always do the right thing for our customers with a dedicated attitude combined with the highest degree of ethics and integrity in client focus

What you'll get for this role:

  • Annual salary of £23,000
  • £25,000 in addition to OTE potential of £27,000-£29,000
