Do you want to play a key role in the front-office of an investment bank? Do you have a natural flair for UX and able to use your full stack skills to build web applications backed up by robust and scalable Java server systems?

Our quantitative development teams work inside the investment bank business making us more responsive, more adaptable, and ultimately more innovative.

We're looking for a senior full stack developer to:

• design, develop and support front-office web applications and electronic trading systems, working alongside business users to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into innovative solutions.
• apply a broad range of software engineering practices to ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions, focusing on both functional and non-functional needs.
• work closely with the global team to further develop and innovate the platform - building observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.
• share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

You will be part of a global development team, working closely with the front office to build out and support user-facing sales and trading applications.

Excellent full stack programming skills in Javascript web application frameworks (React/Vue) and Java

• Takes an automated approach to testing to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Experience of establishing and exploiting DevOps capabilities.
• A strong communicator with experience of working in a front office environment, facing off to the business and picking up business knowledge at every opportunity.
