Job Summary:

The Project Planner will play a critical role in coordinating and managing electrical projects from inception to completion.

This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including Project Managers, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure successful project execution and timely completion.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, manage and maintain the Microsoft Project Online system.
  • Prepare detailed project programmes for FEED, Design, and Construction phases of assigned projects.
  • Engage regularly with stakeholders to maintain the accuracy of project programmes' intended progress and actual ongoing status.
  • Engage with stakeholders regularly to align resource availability and requirements data, to maximise the efficiency of resources and minimise disruption to the assigned project.
  • Produce reports on a regular basis to demonstrate overall projects' status, changes, risks and options.
  • Prepare outline programmes and resource budgets to support FEED and estimating activities.
  • Capture all instances of change to scope, programme, budget, and resources, with sufficient data granularity to support reporting and analysis to drive improvements.
  • Liaise with purchasing to accommodate long lead items within project delivery.
  • Support projects' management and delivery teams (management, design and construction) as required.
  • Engage with the engineering teams to capture realistic and practical methods of working and incorporate them into project programmes.
  • Project control/ project planning qualification
  • Fully conversant and competent with Microsoft Project
  • Industrial/ petrochemical/ oil & gas knowledge
  • Electrical and instrumentation experience advantageous
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective timemanagement skills.

Salary:
£50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
