Job Summary:
Our Labourers will be working on industrial sites helping to install power, lighting, distribution boards and 1st fixing.
The individual will have a person with a "can-do" attitude, who takes pride in professionalism and high standards. The role may include some daily travel alongside a qualified electrician, servicing remote sites across Wales.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in tasks such as the installation of cable, containment and clipping etc.
- Ensure adherence to company and industry regulations.
- Operate equipment (for which training has been received) in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Ensure equipment and tools are stored safely and securely.
- Where practical, clean and make minor repairs to equipment and tools.
- Operate basic hand/power tools.
- Site based work may include working away from home or during weekends as reasonably required and with sufficient notice where possible.
- Any other tasks as reasonable required in relation to your role.
- Ensure the highest levels of quality are met.
- Conduct risk assessments & drive SHEQ excellence.
Key Skills Required
- Experience supporting electricians installing cable, containment and clipping.
- Experience using basic power tools
- Able to work collaboratively with a team.
- Able to help support electricians carry tools and other equipment between jobs
- Full driving licence is essential
- Good timekeeping
- Happy to travel daily travel is involved
