Purpose of the role -
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to -
- Assist the Marketing Manager in the execution of all local marketing activities across the networks, in conjunction with the strategy, brand values, business needs and guidelines
- Assist in maintaining marketing budget and keep track of all expenses for retail marketing activities to ensure cost effectiveness
- Assist the Marketing Manager in all aspects of CRM campaigns, including building eDMs for each language, reviewing all online pages and updating the eDM and homepage planners
- Order appropriate marketing collateral and press samples, dispatch allocations per market, organize product seeding and monitor inventory
- Support the Marketing Manager in the translation review process
- Prepare adequate reports, including PR report
- Spearhead individual signature store trade marketing initiatives, ensuring each store receives customized attention
- Assist in building and implementing marketing strategy for new store developments
- Coordinate the execution of stores' and external events, including customer communications, RSVP management, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and running of the event
- Monitor store performance and react to current up or down trends with the appropriate amount of marketing assistance
- Support the Marketing Manager in scouting out opportunities with local potential partners
- Support store managers with local marketing activities focused on gaining visibility in the neighbourhood
To be successful, you will have -
- Degree qualifications in marketing or a relevant field
- Over 2 years' experience in marketing, including digital marketing
- A bility to collaborate with team members and the wider business
- Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Experience working across multiple countries in the EU region an advantage
- Deep affinity of the Aesop brand and its values
- Fluent in English, additional language will be highly regarded
- Passion for the arts, literature, architecture, design and other cultural areas
