Barking & Dagenham College is a vibrant and highly successful College in East London with circa 7,500 students, circa 500 established staff and a turnover of £35m.

The College offers routes into learning from entry level through to MBA level, including apprenticeships, higher level apprentices, higher education and job centre plus clients.

We have technical specialist areas from level 3 and above with a broad based curriculum up to level 2.

The College trains circa 850 apprentices, including circa 110 higher level apprenticeships and delivers work place training, traineeships and higher level technical and professional specialisms up to MBA level in our 4 strategic vocational areas; Construction, Design & Management; Engineering including mechatronics & robotics; Digital Creative; Health & Social Care and Leadership and Management across the pan London occupational sectors.

Join our Team
We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for a
School Engagement Officer to join our team.

In this busy role, you will take a lead role in coordinating and managing and engagement programme to develop positive relationships with schools and to maximise learner recruitment in line with the College's strategy and annual plan.

You will be working with the Marketing and Communications Team and wider Customer Engagement and Admissions Team to establish and deliver on various school targeted communication, events and activities to drive engagement and ultimately lead generation into our courses.

With your proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects within a medium to large organisation and resource constraints in multi-cultural environments, and demonstrable experience of working in a recruitment role within a fast paced environment, you could be the person for us.
