A leading organisation part of Cambridge University currently have a requirement for an experienced Purchase Ledger to join them on a temporary basis for 2 months with potential extension.

You will be assisting the department with a variety of financialduties and playing a vital role in support the department with increased workload.

Location:
Central Cambridge (CB1), Office based

Position:
Temporary 4 weeks, full-time (37 hours per week)


Salary:
£12-14


Start date:
Immediately


Main Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders, invoices and expenses
  • Allocate payments
  • Prepare payment runs
  • Suppliers statement and bank reconciliations
  • Manage petty cash
  • Check and verify any discrepancies
  • Other ad hoc accounts / administration duties as required
  • Liaising with customers, and colleagues for any financial enquires
We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail. numeracy accuracy, strong excel skills (Pivot table and VIookup). Previous experience is in purchase ledger is desirable.
